The rooms we had were newly renovated and with tv's in both lounge, the sofa plus access to the key. Location: the hotel was right by the Queen st mall, museum and South Bank parklands and river walk.

location
there is no privacy. i was staying in room 802 and i could hear every single conversation from the couple in room 801. i had to turn up the volume of the TV in order to drown out the noise and to have some privacy.

Welcoming staff and newly decorated rooms, we had a pleasant overnight experience. Its location a few steps away from The Parkland was favourable and magnificent. Further, it was just off airport train and shops and transport services.

Very handy to Central city, trains, buses etc. Good view from room and balcony.,
Bed a bit hard, settee in living area not particularly comfortable,. ventilation system in bathroom a bit noisy, and only marginally effective. A couple of nights, there were very strong cooking smells coming from another apartment. Otherwise no problems.and would stay again.

We stayed for one day and everything was very good; we loved the convenient location near public transportation, the city center, Queen Street Mall, Southbank, and the Roma Railway station.

Excellent location, Overall though the location made it a great place to be placed for an event at Suncorp stadium and to walk the city. The rate was also very good.
The severely stained couch was a little off putting, as was the warning that too much steam in the bathroom would result in a fire birgade call out and a AUD$1000 bill to me - especially seeing as there was no extractor fan in the bathroom! The staff were also pretty disinterested.

Superb location: 1. Good base for train travel as it is located just opposite of Roma train station. 2. Just 1 block from fitness first North Quay
1. It is not sound proof at all, I can hear the TV and also vivid conversation from people next door. 2. The cleaning service does not really clean the unit, they only change the towel and supplies. They should also vacuum and clean the bathroom floor.

Location, and kitchen facilities. Price was good for Brisbane - as it is an expensive city. But not very good value overall for what you get.
The furnishings in the room, is very old. Like what other reviewers say. The bathroom and kitchen are from the early 80's era and have not been maintained (chips on cupboards etc...).
